The last time I visited TW was back in college...half a decade ago @-@ but since then I've been dreaming about the next time I'd return and rent a scooter to tour the entire coast. My TW drama dreams were shattered when I ran it by all my local friends. 😅 "很危險!" lolol...I don't know where I got that grand idea but I'm glad they convinced me not to because I attempted to ride a scooter in front of Ricky's house and could barely handle a U-turn. Thankfully Ricky had a car 😂 and I got to check off my IG checklist...cuz that's the real motivation behind traveling in this age. Our mini road trip consisted of picking up pig trotters (mah fav), demolishing pig trotters in front of the Eternal Spring Shrine, admiring the Taroko ("magnificent and splendid" in Truku) rock architecture, sneaking into a private resort for the "gram" but in my case, the "snap", and finally crossing a suspension bridge. That phrase "we'll cross that bridge when we get there"...I literally had no choice, Ricky and Katie forced me when we got there. I don't know if I will ever conquer my fear of heights but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
