It's crazy how unplanned events in life can align so well. The two consecutive years prior Ricky happened to be in NY during my birthday and now I got to visit his hometown exactly a year later. Let's continue this May tradition! It was really a sweet experience to return to Hualien and experience this beautiful place through a local lens. Even though we had some hilarious recurring encounters with all of Ricky's favorite eateries being closed (pro tip: Sundays and Mondays are days off), I left Hualien resolved to return and explore more. We spent a lot of time enjoying nature. The ocean is the perfect backdrop for side profile portraits bahahah. I told Ricky he should consider modeling.
