My friend Kara invited me to take photos of her hula performance at Brooklyn Botanical Garden. This was such a fun photoshoot and completely out of my comfort zone. I didn't realize how stealth photographers have to be and hyperaware of their own presence. I had to learn the hard way a few times and was scolded at a cranky old lady in the audience for blocking their view. 😅 I had the Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride song on loop while editing this. I have yet to visit Hawaii but I imagine it's blissful and good vibes all around.
