Cherish the people in your life that make a foreign city feel like home. Time spent with Esther and Emerline is always filled with the sweetest memories. I rarely venture out of the city unless it's my pilgrimage to Flushing but this weekend I finally made my way to house warm my Brooklyn gurlfrands. I am incredibly thankful for their solid presence in my life here in New York. In these past two years, we have made it through major milestones and shared in the journey of adulting and becoming...I guess you could say, seasoned New Yorkers. I am bummed that we do not see each other as often, but I realized the quality of relationships keeps us grounded and connected.
This refreshing weekend was spent reflecting on the past year and laughing over the crazy living conditions we lived through to tell the tale. I actually look forward to the days these anecdotes will be told to our children (my cats). :') Another thing I am grateful for is our shared, impeccable taste for art and culture bahaha. Our morning breakfast at Okonomi and tea at Kettl in East Williamsburg transported us to Japan (my spirit country *0*). Photos below were a joint effort in art direction, hand modeling (I think I've found my calling), photography, and editing. And cheers to new friendships, welcome to the city Kim! #RATCHETTIME
