| Mehehe. |
This past weekend, my family hosted my 23rd berfday celebration in our moutain abode. It was pretty exciting to have all my buddies come out to visit and enjoy the fresh air and nature. I was on the fence for a while about having a birthday party because of all the work and stress of keeping people entertained. x_x I think I got too carried away being fixated on the logistics and arguing with my parents on what to serve. There were a few times I was pretty close to cancelling the party lol. It's weird to the point of uncomfortable when it comes to planning parties for myself...I rather much plan parties for other people. But good friends reminded me to relax and take comfort in that good company + good food + good jams = good times. The older we get, the more difficult it is to gather everyone together, so I'm very happy that I got to spend this new year of my life, celebrating with the peeps that have been by my side from childhood, adolescence, college, and now young adulthood.
FOOD // The spread. My friends brought so much extra food. It was pretty much a buffet. My dad's homemade tacos and salsa were a hit. He really outdid himself.
PEOPLE // Eating. Piñata. Balloons. Gifts. Caek. My friends are so awesome. x_x It was a bit hectic in the begining because of the food and setup, but everyone gave a hand and just made everything fall into place.

| Thank you to the people that made the magic happen behind the scenes. |
I really wasn't looking forward to turning 23, but I'm working on changing my mindset. 23 by default isn't a milestone year, but I'm commiting myself to working hard, discipling myself, being joyful, giving thanks and serving people. Cheers to 23.
